Tilt & Turn
The most common and best sealing window with its 'all-way around' locking system operated with one handle in the centre either on the left or right side of the window, thus sealing its rubber-gasket tight from unwanted drafts.
Tilt Mode: Turning the handle to one position causes the top of the window to tilt inward, providing ventilation while maintaining security.
Turn Mode: Turning the handle to another position causes the entire window to swing inward like a door, allowing for maximum ventilation and easy cleaning from the inside.
Awning
The classical fashion style Australian window. They are hinged at the top and open outward from the bottom, creating an awning-like effect.

When exceeding 60cm in width, additional locks at the left and right side of the window sash are recommended to improve air tightness when closed.
